Shaykh Muhammad bin Haadee was asked for advice with respect to the Salafi da'wah and part of his answer follows (read and listen to original here):

Then it is desirable, and it is the fifth affair, that (a person) is precise in (holding on to) the reins of the path which the Righteous Salaf were upon, and the principle concerning this is, "Whoever wishes to follow (the way of someone) then let him follow he who has died, for verily, the living person is not secure from tribulation." Following (others), after the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) is through those who have died upon the correct path, "They are the ones whom Allaah guided, so by their guidance, guide yourself" (6:90). As for the living, then you love a person and praise him on account of what he (actually) possesses [which you have observed], but do not give him a complete tazkiyah [from all angles] because you do not know what a person's life will be sealed with. And you see, how often, how often, how often, al-Maghrawi, and where he ended up, and Abu al-Hasan (al-Ma'ribee) and where he ended up, Alee Hasan al-Halabee and where he ended up, and he joined with the Democrats, (in) the last (part) of his affair. And now al-Hajuri, where did he end up, he ended up with them, they became his visitors, Abu al-Hasan and Alee Hasan and those [they visited him]. So the living, O my beloved ones, is not secure from tribulation.

Imaam Ahmad (may Allaah be pleased with him and have mecy upon him) relates in the Musnad from the hadeeth of al-Miqdaad bin al-Aswad with a hasan isnaad that it was said to him, meaning he was spoken to, so he said, "I shall not say anything about a person - or he said about a man - until after he dies, following a hadeeth I heard from the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam)." So it was said to him, "What did you hear the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) say?" He said: I heard him say, "Verily, the heart of the son of Aadam is more unsteady than the cooking pot when (its' content) boils." When this cooking pot starts to boil how does it move and shake? In the blink of an eye, tens of times. So al-Miqdaad says: I did not return to witnessing for anyone with anything until (after) he dies. So a person - after the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) - he guides himself and follows (the way of) those who have died upon guidance. As for the living, then it is hoped and feared for him, he is not secure from tribulation, and for this reason we have been commanded (to say), "O our Lord,do not cause our hearts to deviate after you have guided us" (3:8).

We ask Allaah - the Sublime and Exalted - for steadfastness (thabaat) and within this is a refutation against the one who said that "the one firm in Salafiyyah does not deviate"! What empty speech is this?! A person can deviate until even from Islam (itself), otherwise when is the meaning of "O our Lord, do not cause our hearts to deviate after you have guided us" and what is the meaning of the saying of the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam), "O Turner of the hearts, establish my heart upon your deen" and he is the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam), he teaches us that. So it is desirable for a person in this field that he asks Allah, the Sublime and Exalted - for steadfastness, and that he does not follow except the one who has died upon faith, guidance, the path of truth and piety. And he loves the living person due to what he possess of goodness, and he respects him, gives him precedence, and honors him, from those deserve to be honoured, revered. However, he does not give a complete tazkiyah (from all angles). We ask Allaah to grant us and you firmness.

This advice is mentioned in the context of the end-result of both the Mumayyi'een like al-Ma'ribee and al-Halabi and the Haddaadiyyah like al-Hajuri. The point to note here is that Yahya al-Hajuri has ended up accommodating those whom he was refuting previously and considering to be upon misguidance, deviation and innovation. For it is related and established that he received and accommodated both al-Ma'ribee and al-Halabi during his trip to Saudi with cordiality. This is the most strange of affairs from both sides because how can al-Ma'ribee and al-Halabee claim to have been fighting against ghuluww and extremism in jarh and tabdee' for all those years, and then come to the most extreme arch-Haddadi of them all, Yahya al-Hajuri, the one who has wreaked havoc on the land and let his tongue loose upon the Sahaabah, the usool of the Sunnah, and the Scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah, those in Yemen, and those in Saudi, with evil, disgusting speech. How can this be and what such blatant contradiction. At the same, from the other side, look at Yahya al-Hajuri, making tabdee' of some of the Shaykhs of Yemen, accusing others of being on the verge of apostasy for things on account of things - which if we accept purely just for argument's sake (even though they are lies and oppressions) - pale into insignificance when compared to the calamities of al-Ma'ribee and al-Halabee whom he was formerly refuting and describing with innovation and misguidance. So when you see this strange, strange contradiction and inconsistency, then you will come to realize that just as a single coin has two sides and just as the Ikhwanis have a lenient side to accommodate innovators and a harsh side towards scholars and rulers, both these approaches serve the same end. And in a similar way, the Mumayyi'ah and the Haddaadiyyah are two approaches (two sides of the same coin) to achieve similar ends, to attack the People of the Sunnah, undermine them and their Scholars and their da'wah. So it is no surprise that you see them gathering and being visited, because their hearts have similar objectives.

And when this is the case with all of these people like al-Hajuri, al-Halabi and al-Ma'ribee then you would not be surprised to see that those who sit on the fence or are aligned with these innovators here in the West or sympathetic to them, they praise and commend al-Hajuri the Innovator with praises aimed at instilling love and respect in the hearts for him (see this episode for example). This is despite the fact that they claim to be opposed to ghuluww and extremism in tabdee' and jarh and the rest of this type of speech.

Update

A comment (27/02/2014) in relation to this article by one of the Fanatical Hajaawirah (Musa Millington) in the West has been brought to our attention, but before we address it just two points:

a) Gratefulness to Allaah that the love He placed in our hearts for the Sahabah and Uthmaan (radiyallaahu anhu) was strong enough to make us feel for them, to be angered for them and to give us the motivation to stand in defence of them and to protect their honour and standing from the lies and fabrications of Yahya al-Hajuri al-Haddadi. As for the Hajaawirah, defence of al-Hajuri is loftier in their eyes than defence of the Sahaabah (radiyallaahu anhum) and their actions prove it, all the evidence you need is in the actions of the most vocal and passionate defenders amongst them. They climbed mountains and swam seas to defend al-Hajuri accusing Uthmaan (radiallaahu anhu) of instituting bid'ah, despite the fact that they have zero evidence in their hands, and so with zero evidence, it is clear that the main motivation is to defend al-Hajuri, at the cost of accusing Uthmaan (radiallaahu anhu) with what he is free and innocent of.

b) We do not listen to Ahl al-Ahwaa, and their messages do not reach us, we block them and close all avenues for them. None of their tweets reach us directly because we immediately block any Hajurite, out of sight, out of mind walhamdulillah. However, sometimes people may forward some of their silly comments and overwhelmingly we choose to ignore them.

As for the comment of the Fanatical Hajurite, then someone sent us the image and in response it is simply said: Bid'ah does strange things to the brain of an individual, it being one of numerous factors (along with diet, environment and pollution) and here we have a good example of its influence. First, the various Shaykhs mentioned are Shaykhs of Ahl al-Sunnah, they are not innovators, unlike al-Ma'ribee and al-Halabee and al-Hajuri and they have not opposed the usool of Ahl al-Sunnah. Second, those Shaykhs do not flatter and accommodate those whom they have previously refuted for innovation and misguidance. Third, al-Hajuri engineering meetings with the Shaykhs by visiting Saudi so he can enter upon them and for it to be said "Al-Hajuri met with so and so" is a face-saving attempt and these are games that have been played by many an innovator previously. How foolish do the Hajaawirah think people are? Fourth Al-Hajuri is a man with few principles, he is happy to curse and revile Scholars (like he did with Shaykh Rabee') and then try to meet with them as if nothing happened. Conversely, he will refute and make tabdee' of others, and then have no issue in accommodating them and receiving them himself such as al-Ma'ribee and Halabee. Fifth, the Hajaawirah are now trying to make excuses by saying that al-Hajuri was advising these innovators to come to the truth! Whereas previously many of these Haddaadis were building tabdee' of Shaykh Abdur-Rahman al-Adanee and others upon reasons including "the innovators or hizbees visit him." Sixth, one can see the end-result of the Hajaawirah in these desperate actions by people like Musa Millington. Evidence (daleel) has gone out of the window, and now nothing left except sophistry and foolishness in intellect.
